Sacred Threads is a ministry located in Boston, MA, offering spiritual companioning, providing opportunities for women to voice their experiences, to imagine possibilities, & to create pathways that connect more deeply with self, others, creation and the Holy. Sacred Threads offers this ministry to any and all who desire to participate.

OFFERINGS

  • Spiritual Direction
    Spiritual Direction is a specific ministry for those who look to share one on one conversations with a trained and certified spiritual director to explore deeper relationships with the Holy. Often times, a spiritual director assists a person to reveal where the Holy interacts with him/her in life. This directed experience may provide an individual with the support, understanding, and clarity of mind needed to help recognize where the Holy "bumps up against us" in every day life.

  • Retreats
    Retreats are usually for small groups of people who desire to have a shared experience of conversation, spirituality, and socialization. Most Sacred Threads' retreats focus on a theme or idea that pertains to women in their experience of spirituality. Retreats may happen several times a year, over a weekend or perhaps during one day.

  • Focusing

    Focusing - is an empowering process that provides us with life skills that teach us how to listen to our body's wisdom especially when we get stuck in the overwhelming " ups and downs" of daily life. It is a simple, powerful way to experience an inner direction to our life that leads to a fulfilling spirituality. 

  • Workshops
    Typically one day experiences, Sacred Threads' workshops offer a larger group information sharing and conversation opportunities about spiritually based topics. Workshops are often led by professionals in their specialty as they share insights which may be helpful for those who attend. Workshops also provide a more concise experience of a topic for participants.

  • Events
    Sacred Threads' events range from speakers to conferences, all of which provide participants with an opportunity to socialize, pray and learn. The goal of our events is to connect people to others who share similar interests, while challenging them to think in new ways about topics of spirituality.

  • Women's Circles of Reflection & Dialogue
    We have found there is great power in small women's circles that meet to share ideas and support individual participants. The idea of the circle is that there is no hierarchy of power: all meet on equal levels, literally eye to eye, to share, discuss, and offer ideas about suggested topics. Women's Circles are hosted monthly in homes all over the Boston area.

  • Support Groups
    Life is full of a balance of joy and sorrow, delight and sadness, and each person's experience of those realities is different. Sacred Threads looks to connect people who are experiencing moments of significant transition with one another, while offering resources and outlets for continued support.
